The QACOS project (Quality and Architecture Concerns in Open Source) was the working title of a 3-year long project funded by the Irish Research Council. The project was funded under the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) programme which provides scholarships for PhD students. The project sought to develop a better understanding of the quality and architectural concerns that firms might have when developing products with Open Source Software as well as with Inner Source.
